Airtel,Idea Offer Cheap Roaming

It is official.Roaming is not going to be free.

Airtel-

Bharti Airtel,India's largest telecom provider and Idea cellular launched "Fixed-Free" plans for subscribers who want to use nation-wide free roaming.

Bharti Airtel launched a pre-paid voucher of Rs.5 per day for unlimited roaming for pre-paid users.

For post-paid users  there is a monthly rental of Rs.75 per month that coupled with different bill plans makes roaming cheaper.

Idea-

Idea Cellular also came out with an attractive plan.It launched a voucher priced between Rs.230 and Rs.240(depending on the states) that allow a subscriber to make calls at the same rates for local,STD,ISD calling and SMS as the user pays for using these services while in the home circle.

The voucher is valid within 6 months of recharge.

Under another plan of Rs.35-40,outgoing will be free and the subscribers will have to pay onlt 75 paise per minute for incoming calls.

Vodafone didn't confirm its plans but the company would also offer similar tariff schemes for its roaming subscribers.

The new fee is as per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) tariff order issued on June 17,2013.

MTS Offers Unlimited Local Calls for Rs.199 per Month

Telecom operator MTS  launched a new monthly tariff plan for Rs 199 under which its customers can make unlimited calls within its network and get 1,000 minutes of talk time free on local calls on other networks.

The plan announced by the company will be valid across all nine circles- Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh (West) and West Bengal, where MTS operates.

With this launch, MTS will start an integrated communication campaign including a series of special Television commercials featuring MTS brand ambassador and Bollywood actor Imran Khan. 

The Always Talk plan comes at an affordable price and provides customers with the flexibility of staying connected with their friends and family.

Along with this, MTS expanded its High Speed Data Footprint in Kerala.Sistema Shyam Tele Services Limited ( SSTL), which provides telecom services under the MTS brand, today launched its high-speed mobile broadband service-- MBlaze in 51 new towns across Kerala.

 

Among towns where the service was launched are Manjeswar, Neeleswaram, Thrikaripur, Cheruvannur, Koodaranji, Mavoor, Kadavalur, Nilambur, Cherpulacherry, Shoranur, Yakkara, Angamaly and Vattapara.
